What time do you meet?

Sunday School starts at 10:00 a.m. Church Services begin at 11:00 am with praise and worship and a time of greeting, followed by preaching. Our service lasts approximately two hours.

Where are you located?Church front

Our building is located at 212 East Second Avenue in downtown Williamson, WV.

Where do I go when I arrive?

If you arrive for Sunday School, classes are located throughout the building. Most anyone you meet can point you to someone who who will be able to find the right class for you. If you arrive in time for church service, the sanctuary is to your left as you enter the building.

What should I wear?

You'll notice that we don't have any Sunday dress code. Some people wear suits, some wear jeans. Some people wear flip flops, others wear dress shoes. We have a relaxed atmosphere that we trust you will find accepting and inviting. You can feel free to stay anonymous or jump right in and start making new friends.

What will my kids do?

Children are in the sanctuary for the beginning of praise and worship. Then, they are dismissed to Children’s Church during the time of greeting. Children’s church is designed to be geared toward the understanding and attention level of the kids. In Children’s Church, your kids might sing some songs, participate in some activities, make some crafts, and hear a bible story.

What happens in your service?

We begin with a couple of praise and worship songs, followed by a time of greeting, generally from Pastor Branch’s wife Jackie. We then enter into a more intense time of praise and worship. You can feel free to sit, sing, clap, raise your hands, wave a flag, jump, dance, or simply sit back and observe. The music is almost entirely contemporary and played by a worship band with guitars, keyboard and drums.

There may be times of prayer when we join hands with each other, or go to the front of the church to pray for each other. The first Sunday of the month we also celebrate communion, the Lord's Supper, together during the worship time.

Next is the sermon which lasts 45 minutes to an hour. We use a variety of tools to keep sermon time interesting, and may use video clips, stories, drama and humor to apply Bible truth to our lives in a relevant way.

Following the sermon there may be a short time of worship and an opportunity for you to respond to the message in prayer or action. We do not intend to embarrass anyone. Instead, we have caring people who want to pray with you and ask God to meet your needs.
